For inquiries regarding the availability of the Carillon for your private event, please contact the Virginia War Memorial Office. The state of Virginia owns and operates the Carillon and surrounding property; the Carillon Civic Association has no involvement with private events at the Carillon.
Located on the west side of Byrd Park, the Carillon neighborhood is a vibrant and diverse residential area in the heart of Richmond, Virginia. Named for the historic bell tower that is the centerpiece of Byrd Park, the Carillon neighborhood is architecturally rich and culturally diverse with a long tradition of civic engagement.The Carillon Civic Association (CCA), founded in 1968, is the Carillon neighborhood’s community association. It is governed by a Board of Directors and supported by various committees, and invites all neighborhood residents to become members. The mission of the association is promote and support the unique, historical aspects of the neighborhood, the energy and fellowship of the residents and the ability to provide cultural benefits to the city of Richmond as a whole. In 2024, the association will celebrate its 55th anniversary.
